Merry Xmas And Some Tips For Staying Narc Free This Xmas

Hi everyone!

Christmas and the festive season is nearly here…

For the Thrivers who are out the other side of narcissistic abuse, it is such a glorious relief to be free of the hooks and the pain, in order to enjoy the sanity and love of a healthy Christmas and holiday season with family, loved ones and friends.

I am also very aware that many of you may not be at this place yet – which means traditionally this can be a very painful and challenging time of year. Continue reading “Merry Xmas And Some Tips For Staying Narc Free This Xmas”

She Left It Too Late To Leave

This article and radio show is a disturbing one.

You may find this painful to read, and even shocking…

In no way am I wanting to re-traumatise you, I am trying to break through to you – about something that is so serious it needs to be relayed.

I apologise in advance if this article is painful to read…but my motivation to save lives collectively truly outweighs that risk. Continue reading “She Left It Too Late To Leave”

Thriving After Narcissistic Abuse Story #11 Debbie

It’s time for another Thriving After Narcissistic Abuse Recovery story!

If you are new to the New Life newsletter I do an interview every few weeks with people in the community who are now thriving after narcissistic abuse, to provide you with insight on how you can recover, and to inspire you and show you that it is possible!

Today’s story is very exciting because it is from one of the original members of the NARC Community Facebook group (The recovery group for the Narcissistic Abuse Recovery Program). She has been a part of the community since 2011 and her contribution to the community, and the help she provides to members has been nothing short of amazing! How Common Painful Belief Systems Lead Us Into Narcissistic Abuse

I often receive this question from people – “What are the common negative beliefs that lead to narcissistic abuse?”

This happens frequently through emails, but this question popped up in the blog comments last week.

As a result, I decided it was time to write an article about this.

I realised quite some time ago that we hold common negative beliefs, which create susceptibility to abuse.

There is a pattern and predisposition that many giving, caring people with integrity have – which allows them to get enmeshed with narcissists. Continue reading “How Common Painful Belief Systems Lead Us Into Narcissistic Abuse”

How To Claim Your Worthiness

Who Am I And Am I Worthy?

This is an article I felt really passionate about writing.

Christine’s Thriver Story last week, was incredibly synchronistic with this week’s article.

When she stated to me that the greatest thing that she realised from her journey was that she had never been able to feel or know her own worthiness, and that she deserved to ‘take up space’ in life – I resonated powerfully.

Before doing her radio show interview I had just made a post on my Facebook Page “When Sleeping Woman Wake, Mountains Move”. My purpose in this post was exactly about sharing inspiration to help generate worthiness. This post received a lot of comments, shares and likes. Continue reading “How To Claim Your Worthiness”

The New Paradigm of Relationships

I had a post recently on my Facebook page where a gentleman asked for me to write about ‘how to know what our needs are in relationships, and how to speak up in order to have our needs heard.’

In order to have a successful relationship based on trust, mutual respect and love it is imperative for you to know exactly what your needs are in the relationship and to make these needs known to your partner.

Not too long ago I was incredibly afraid of speaking up with my partners and believed I would be abandoned if I did so. Continue reading “The New Paradigm of Relationships”

Domestic Abuse Cycles, Safety Planning And Support Services With Fiona

This show is a very important one for the New Life Community. It is an interview with a lady who works on ‘the front line’ with domestic violence, and it is fantastic that we can receive her knowledge and advice today.

I know personally how involved my work is with people who have been abused, but truly I can’t even begin to imagine what it must be to see the real life results of abuse in the flesh day after day, and have to deal with the trauma of what goes on.

This lady in my eyes is incredible, and it is such a privileged to have her on my show. Continue reading “Domestic Abuse Cycles, Safety Planning And Support Services With Fiona”

Transforming From The Wounded Child Into The Healthy Loving Adult

In previous blog articles (especially ones lately) I have written and shared with you a lot about my personal healing journey.

My greatest purpose in doing so is to assist and inspire your journey to heal.

This year has been an incredible year for me personally.  I thought that many of my previous years brought forth incredible personal growth – but truly they have not been ‘a patch’ on this year.

Last week I shared a post on Facebook about my year’s journey, what I had let go of, and what I had filled that empty ‘void’ with. Continue reading “Transforming From The Wounded Child Into The Healthy Loving Adult”
