Ja,.
You seem very defensive against the deep trauma and pain of another. Im afraid when I read your comments around Claire's incredible story of deep courage and whatsmore being good enough to share it so openly...that I got very angry. This site is a place of Healing and Respect for the Abused. Some just moving into 0 Contact and some 'Thriving' and showing the light: like Claire here.
You see I have had a lifetime of dealing with Covert NPD in both parents and your reaction was just like theirs! Every person in the world has the Right to their own feelings and to squash another person in such a manner does Not seem right to me. It makes me question whether you yourself are a Narc and on the wrong site. Every single one of us that has suffered at the beck and call of our abuser has suffered from such Comments of someone trying to Silence us! But then if I judge you; I too am just as guilty of being the judge and the jury of another person's rights to theur own opinion.

Melania Tonia Evans is amazing. I was so ready as a pupil and found Melanie's site. I feel confused as the person who taught me where I needed to heal has been through things themselves and find I do not like to think they are as bad as the psychopath I had married.

Hi Sylvia!
I just wanted to say how happy I am that you are doing NARP and that yes, the journey just seems to lead to it. That's how it was for me as well. I couldn't get past where I was but knew there was more to do. And then NARP happened! <3
See you on the forum!

Hi Amanda,
It just happened. I started to deal with family issues after a few modules into the program. I had released a lot of the emotional backlog that was stored in my body and was triggering me and this memory surfaced of an abandonment attempt by my mother of my sister and I. I was about 5. I had always remembered pieces of it but not the whole event. It just came up with a lot of emotion. I processed it first through my counselor and then through the module. Then other memories surfaced. By this time I was using the modules very well and not nearly as reactive so I could manage them on my own with the program. Some very heavy stuff came up.
I think the main objective would be to use the program to release all you can and then see what comes up for you.
Does this help? Are you a gold member? I can assist you when that time comes on the forum.
Much love,
Clarie

Hi Lil,
My suggestion is to start the modules ASAP. That's where you are going to find the relief. Listen to the orientation mp3 and read the Instructions and Worksheets document. You may find that you need to review these a few times because our ego translates the modules into a task, something that's hard. I assure you its not. You just listen to Melanie and the most you will have to do is write for a minute or longer if you want to. It's not laborious at all.
Do you have the Gold package? That comes with a membership to the forum. It can be a huge support while going through the program.
Let me know and we will get you started on your recovery.
Much love

Hi Clarie,
Thank you for your reply. Although I have been an avid follower of Mels articles and radio shows for around 3 years, I didn't think I needed to work NARP. That's because logically, I knew so much about Narcissism, that I could have written a book. I had researched it inside out and could have given leading experts on the subject a run for their money. I also knew it had started in my childhood with my N-mother ands enabling father, and that I was repeating patterns. But KNOWING isn't enough, is it? I thought I was so far down the recovery route, that I actually purchased Mels Self-Empowerment course, and while I enjoyed doing it, it didn't take hold, because I still held so much trauma in my body, plus I still had negative peptide addiction, and CPTSD. I hadn't had a Narc in my life for over a year, but I knew deep down I wasn't healed. Then a couple of weeks ago, an incident which was actually quite trivial, forced me to finally realise that I needed to purchase NARP. I did that, and have committed myself to my daily modules. I did Module 1 every day and had some great results, but something kept attracting me to module 4, regarding Betrayal and Injustice. I know we are supposed to do the Mods in order, but last night, curiosity got the better of me and I did No. 4. I had the MOST powerful shifts, and felt so peaceful and tranquil afterwards. I will go back and do the others, but I think I was in such a thick fog of anger and resentment, relating back to early childhood, that it needed dynamite to shift it, and Mod 4 provide the right level of explosive charge! I am so hopeful for the future now, and so grateful to Mel, and the Thrivers like you Clarie, for sharing your stories. Another interesting topic you raised was infantilization. In every relationship and friendship I entered into, I was both infantilized AND parentified. I was expected to take full responsibility for the other person, sometimes to the extent of helping them financially, but they would also want to control, dominate and isolate me. So I was playing dual roles of child and parent simultaneously. No more of that for me! ( I hope!) Love to you and Mel xxx Sylvia
