The NARP program has been.enlightening and healing! Now this! I never thought someone else could understand my crazy selfโ€ฆand then, just like that-here you are. I cannot express how much I needed to read and take in this article. I thought of co-dependency as a 12 step recovery term. At 55 years old I am learning so much about myself and why I have made the choices that I have made. The most powerful being that I need to stop looking outside myself for love and let the light (God, HP, etc.) in to my heart. I knew he/she was always there, but never thought I was worthy of his/her love. After reading this article and doing some soul searching I realized that he made me the way that I am and he/she does love me just the way that I am. Words cannot express how grateful I am for this program. THANK YOU and Happy 2022๐Ÿ’•

I always knew I was a people pleaser, but I never accepted that I was obtaining my sense of self from it. I never imagined that I am whole simply from my existence. Thank you for this article. I always knew it deep down I think but this has brought it in to the open for me. I tried connecting with my inner traumas to release them but I don’t know if I can do it. When I try it just feels like I’m totally numb cannot feel, or connect. I am ill so brain pathways not working right, or maybe I’m so far gone I’m beyond, is that a thing?

Although this view may hold some truth, I went to aa for six months and there are some amazing people who have worked the steps and are very spiritually healthy because of this and help others
